FetchFlow is a product of Charlie & Co ("Charlie & Co," "FetchFlow," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it across fetchflow.net (the "Site"), the free FetchFlow WordPress plugin, and the FetchFlow Pro add-on and licensing platform (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create a FetchFlow account or purchase FetchFlow Pro, we collect your email address, a hashed password, and (where applicable) your Stripe customer ID. We never store your raw password.
Billing information
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We do receive billing metadata from Stripe needed to run the Service — your plan, subscription status, and invoice history.
License and activation data
When you activate FetchFlow Pro, we store your license key as a salted hash (never in plain text), along with the site URL, plugin version, WordPress version, PHP version, and any optional site fingerprint your site submits at activation time. This is how we enforce per-plan site limits and serve license-gated updates.
Audit and security logs
We log activation, deactivation, verification, entitlement-check, download and authentication events, together with the requesting IP address, timestamp and user agent. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting, and are not used for advertising.
Support communications
If you email [email protected], we keep that correspondence — including any site URLs, logs, or account details you choose to share — to help resolve your request.
Data from the WordPress plugin itself
The free FetchFlow plugin only makes outbound requests to the external API endpoints youconfigure — FetchFlow does not phone home for the free plugin. FetchFlow Pro contacts our licensing API solely to activate, verify, and update your license. Feed analytics (a Pro feature) are calculated and stored in your own WordPress database; we don't receive that data unless you separately send it to us, for example when troubleshooting a support request.
Cookies and local storage
The account dashboard keeps you signed in using a token stored in your browser's local storage. We don't use third-party advertising cookies on fetchflow.net.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic to fetchflow.net — pages visited, referral source, and general device and location info. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitors across a session. We don't use this data to identify individuals or share it with advertisers. You can opt out using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Newsletter signup
The signup form on our homepage doesn't add you to an automated mailing list. It opens an email addressed to [email protected] with the details you entered, and a person adds you by hand.
How we use this information
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe
- Issue, verify, and support FetchFlow Pro license keys
- Send transactional email — license keys, renewal notices, and replies to support requests
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We share information with service providers who help us run FetchFlow — currently Stripe for payments and our hosting infrastructure providers — under obligations to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FetchFlow, Charlie & Co, or our users. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep account and license data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for billing, security, and legal record-keeping. Audit logs are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes.
Your rights
You can review and update your account details, rotate or revoke a license key, and manage active site activations from your account dashboardat any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — including rights available under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, or the California Consumer Privacy Act — email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
International transfers
FetchFlow is operated from Canada. Depending on where you and our service providers (such as Stripe and our hosting infrastructure) are located, your information may be processed outside your home country. We take reasonable steps to ensure it's handled securely wherever it's processed.
Security
License keys are stored as salted hashes, not plain text. License responses are cryptographically signed (Ed25519) so the plugin can verify they came from us. Traffic to the Service is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll notify active account holders by email.
